Citizens Comments Concerning Coal Waste Impoundments

Coal facility near school shocking (from a Gazette editorial)

I just wanted to remind the general public that there is a sludge dam, coal silo, and coal processing plant right behind Marsh Fork Elementary School in Raleigh County. Did everyone forget about this? Every time I drive past that school, I am in shock that Massey Energy is still allowed to conduct their atrocities right by an elementary school!

Doesn't anyone else see a problem with this? Doesn't anyone care? Doesn't anyone have any common sense anymore? How dare the DEP even think about allowing a permit for this. How dare all the Friends of Coal that call themselves Christians say that "coal feeds your kids," when it is killing other people's kids? Greed and lack of a conscience makes me want to vomit.
