Abstract

Human liver cells were exposed to water from an impoundment in Mingo County, WV. Exposure to 1%, 5%, and 10% slurry solutions resulted in 13.5%, 14.0%, and 15.4% inhibition of cell viability, respectively, as compared to untreated controls.
