MJS offers magnets to coalfield residents
Fed up with blackwater spills in eastern Kentucky, Mountain Justice Summer (MJS) members have began distributing refrigerator magnets to coalfield residents. The magnets display two 800-numbers for Kentucky government enforcement agencies.
The first number is a 24-hour hotline for reporting blackwater spills to the Kentucky Emergency Response Team ( (800) 928-2380). The second number is for reporting overweight coal trucks to Kentucky Vehicle Enforcement ( (800) 928-2402).
